The Cancer Center Expansion project consists of a new three-story 45,600 sf building north of the existing Cancer Center located at the northeast corner of 45th & X Streets on the UC Davis Medical Center campus in Sacramento. The expansion is linked to the existing building via an enclosed bridge at the 2nd level. The new building will be of a different construction type than the existing Cancer Center. A one-hour separation is required at the bridge connection. The project includes the addition of a pediatric clinic, pediatric infusion, adult clinic, and adult infusion. A new infusion pharmacy will serve both pediatrics and adult departments with a total construction estimate of $17,309,753. Utility connection the University’s existing co-generation Central Plant will be provided under a separate project.
Bid Package 2 includes the following trades: Demolition, Earthwork, Rebar, Concrete, Self Leveling Concrete, Rough Carpentry, Waterproofing, Firestopping, Caulking, Doors Frames & Hardware, Access Doors, Tile, Flooring, Wallcoverings, Paint, Specialties, Cubicle Drapery, Signs, Fire Extinguishers, Floor Mats, Window Treatments.
